I agree. She seems like she's the type of girl that's trying to come off as pretentious and highbrow for the sake of real credibility. Just comes off like a jerk to me.

All this pooh-poohing at pretty much any type of game around doesn't come off as intellectual, just irritating. And really, RPGs = bad music? You must be tone deaf, SG. Seriously.

Wow, Statix. She came off to me sounding like someone very likable. I do wonder about how she posts all that news without getting in trouble though. I have to sit on at least a dozen blogs’ worth of news each month due to NDAs and the trust I’ve developed with people I know. I imagine the stuff that’s being leaked is stuff that people want leaked, but leaked in a discreet way. Either way, I’m a big fan of what she does. Especially the politics.

Sounds like a real beech to me. Probably not an extremely likable person. Still, if she continues to post insider videogame info and tidbits (that turn out to be true) then I’ll marry the lady.

All the news this Surfer girl gives is highly vague. The stuff she said about Resistance 2 could be made up by anyone who's played the first game. Until she says something solid, that turns out to be true, I'm going to remain extremely sceptical about any 'news' she posts on her blog.

The fact that she hates every gaming genre (except puzzle games) known to man makes me even more sceptical.
