Hey this is great. I don't know about all the power leveling stuff, but I did buy gold once. After the gold was transferred I used it and found no problems. The only problem that happened was that my brother gave my account out, and the people decided to have fun and screw everything up. Even the password... Well oh well. I've got a new account and still feeling good. No more gold for me though or anything going against Blizz.

Its a great story, and please do show the rest heh. :)

Im sure they have records of my account but i have had 1 other char levelled since then no prob.

anxious for part 2

I had a similar experience- but I didn't corrupt the process by logging in. The service I used had an army of people play the character, grinding away nonstop on trash. I wasnt surprised when the account was banned, there must have been a lot of different IPS, and at level 28, the character had zero rep.

It gets irritating because I play in a medium sized guild of friends. I have already leveled 2 characters to 70 on my own. The reason I wanted a third was that Blizzard has made the end-game in such a way that the same 25-man raid CANNOT complete every encounter, and my guild hasnt had a lot of luck recruiting quality players in our (extremely small) timezone.
It seems like a lot of this grief could be spared if the powerleveling companies had 1 ip address quest for 14-16 hours a day...
