Reminder: Blizzard Customer Support Still Not A Teen Suicide Hotline

Teenage suicide? Don’t do it. And don’t threaten that you’re going to kill yourself to Blizzard Entertainment customer support representatives via online chat, because that will land your arse in jail. (Pro tip!)
Unfortunately, one 17-year old doofus from Middletown, Ohio hadn’t learned that lesson in time, making a phony threat while chatting in-game with a Blizzard rep, one who wisely phoned in the faux call for help to police. The unnamed teen was promptly arrested on misdemeanor charges after claiming “he was suicidal and that the game is the only thing he has to live for.”
If there’s any confusion about whether you should do that, he’s a reminder: Don’t! I know the holidays can be tough, but power through. And don’t threaten to not power through to anyone with your billing information. We clear?
