There Are 25 Million Copies Of Halo In The Wild

Yup, more from Robbie Bach’s supporting role during yesterday’s Microsoft CES keynote. While rappin’, he announced that since the release of the first Halo, over 25 million games in the series have been sold.

That’s across all three games across both platforms, so we’re looking at an average of five million sales for each. Impressive! Even more so when you remember the PC games didn’t sell anywhere near as many as the console ones, so the Xbox iterations are more likely averaging 7-8 million.

A number that, with Halo 3:ODST and Halo Wars due this year, is only going to go up.
