New Harvey Norman catalogue is out. Let’s see what’s on offer.
Console-wise, it seems they’ve swapped around some of the bundled games and that’s about it:
PS3 – $688 – includes 80GB console, GT5 Prologue, Uncharted and, er… Legendary
360 – $429 – includes 60GB console and Saints Row 2
Wii – $398 – includes console and Wii Sports
Software-wise, there’s a couple of okay pre-order deals and some ultra-budget old PC games:
Killzone 2 (PS3) – $88
The Sims 3 (PC) – $88
Street Fighter IV (360, PS3) – $99
Command & Conquer 3 (PC) – $9
Medal of Honor: Airborne (PC) – $9
Tiger Woods ’08 (PC) – $9
The Sims 2 (PC) – $9

Dudes. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot, but I can’t seem to find a copy of Fallout 3(xbox) anywhere. I went to 4 separate retailers the other day…nothing. Is there a shortage in Sydney??
Btw, I noticed it’s gone back up to $115. Anyone know of a place selling it at a cheaper price point?

Since when is $99 an “okay” price for a game? I know the RRP is $119, but it’s rare to have to pay even $99 these days in my experience.

@HotDamn!
http://www.cdwow.com.au also sells Fallout 3 at $63.95 for PS3/360 and $52.95 for PC. JB Hi-Fi was selling the PC version for $70, if I recall correctly.

This is where it pays to have a friend who works in JB Hi-Fi – he gets me games at cost price – looking forward to picking up Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4 and House of the Dead Overkill for good prices very soon (and even better if I can wait for a pre-owned copy – I’ve never paid more than $45 for a pre-owned ‘new release’ game)

@AgentCAAN
Cheers man. :-)
@Daniel
Seriously, why would you not love paying full price for video games? I guess I’ve got piles of cash just lying around, so I’m like “$Whatevz$”.
