Do we have an ETA on when this FEAR2 hype bullshit will roll over and die? I’m yet to play a monolith game that didn’t completely suck story-wise, overuse specular and normal mapping, and have ridiculous anti-climactic boss fights.
Can’t we talk about something cooler? Like, you know… socks? Or even grass? Grass has a nice amount of specular. I wonder what it’s story arc will be like?

I don’t know about the Mech Combat. I enjoyed it a lot and I occasionally did wish I was once again in my mech, purely to be safe from the those freaky ghosts. But yeah, giving the player an advantage for a while can be fun, and I think they did pretty well here.
