Find Body Parts, Win a Trip to Africa

8:04AM March 11, 2009 | Brian Crecente

Hmm, I’m not sure if this is a great idea. To promote the upcoming release of Resident Evil 5, Capcom will leaving a trail of body parts through part of London.

The person who collects the most valuable parts and announces their bloody loot to the world from the Westminster Bridge will win a trip to Africa… or maybe be tackled and beaten by British police. One of those.

Arms and legs are worth two points each, torsos are worth three and the head is worth five. More details over on the Capcom site.

Man, this is not going to end well.

    This seems on par with Activision buying advertising space on tombstones for Shadowman back in the day.

    How could it possibly go wrong?

    @Brett Cullen

    That was Acclaim, not Activision. They also ran a promotion to pay off the speeding fines anyone incurred on the day of Burnout’s launch. Acclaim were full of great ideas.
