A friendly tipster has passed on this shot of Kmart’s retail database. To translate, it shows the PlayStation 2, and it shows that next week the console will be reduced to US$99.
The move will also, apparently, be first advertised by Kmart in a catalogue due to be circulated on April 5. Something we heard about a few weeks back.
Could this be the major announcement due on Tuesday? We certainly thought so on Friday. Now we think so a little more.
