Nintendo just let us know that Punch-Out!!, the Wii remake/re-imagining of the classic NES title, will be out in Europe on May 22.
To get Europeans suitably psyched for the event, Super Punch-Out! will be released on the PAL Virtual Console on March 20.
That’s a lot of punching.

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like they’ve been working on it long, but considering the punch-out! games usually take place in the one environment (a simple boxing ring) with simple controls and limited movement, i can’t imagine it would have been a long game to develop anyway. And games like super mario kart and advance wars weren’t hyped up either. Can’t wait, it’s being released just before my birthday! Hooray!
