Shadow Of the Colossus Movie Won’t Have A Cheesy Sidekick

There are still plenty of things you have left to worry about should Shadow of the Colossus ever progress from “movie project” to “movie in production”. But a corny sidekick isn’t one of them.


Justin Marks, the man writing the screenplay for the possible adaptation of Sony’s classic PS2 title, promised that in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, before moving on to discuss the promise he sees in the source material.

With a lot of games there are so many elements in the universe you spend your time tearing down and tearing down. What’s nice about this game is that it’s so sparse so you can start building right away.

Adding stuff to a game where sparseness was the appeal? Oh dear…
