It’s a retro weekend for me, as I finally dive into the ancient riches of the Wii’s Virtual Console.
On the download list are: Metroid, Castlevania III, Mega Man 2 and Zelda 2 for NES; Paper Mario, Super Mario RPG, Actraiser and Breath of Fire 2 for SNES. I’m thinking that should keep me going until late Sunday night.
How about you? What’s on your gaming agenda this weekend?

I finished de Blob this morning. FANTASTIC GAME.
On the agenda this weekend, finish Darwnia, play some Multiwinia and attempt to finish Starcraft again. Thinking of buying Defcon as well, the atmosphere I saw in a video sold me from the get go.

I recently purchased Outrun Online Arcade, so will probably give that a whirl. Anyone know if it’s compatible with the G25? It’d be awesome if it did! =D

Left 4 Dead…. I went back to it to check out survival mode, which I didn’t really enjoy that much, but now I’ve been sucked back in to versus. Bit of a shame about the good-to-retarded player ratio though.

I’ll be playing as much Little King’s Story as I can fit in! Anyone else pick it up and loving it as much as I am?

Picked it up Friday and have spent a couple hours so far. The game definately has a certain charm to it.
Also I’ll be spending some time catching Heatran.
Might finally start prestige mode in CoD:WaW, although it’s not very tempting :\

I’ve packed my Wii away as I’m moving soon, so no retro VC games for me.
Left my 360 out though so I’m finally gonna get into Fable 2 and if I get bored of that some GTA IV.

I would like to say Tom Clancy’s HAWX and the flight stick that I won a few weeks ago from Kotaku, but I’ve yet to receive my prize.
Don’t mean to sound rude David, but can you inform me when I can expect to receive my prize? I haven’t gotten a reply from the email I sent you.
Thanks

Since we now have trophy support, I’ll be belting out some tunes on SingStar on the PS3.
Speaking of the virtual console though David, I don’t suppose you know if/WHEN we are gonna see the C64 classics here in Australia? Uridium, Paradroid, Impossible Mission (“Another visitor. Stay a while. Stay….forever!”

I WAS watching blu rays via my PS3 this weekend, but 20 minute before the end of Resident Evil: Extinction, the thing decided it couldn’t read blu rays anymore. Ugh.
