Already on sale in Japan, Blu-ray flick Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete has a U.S. release date. It is June 2, 2009, and the movie is priced at US $US38.96.
Re-recorded with the original voice cast that includes Rachel Leigh Cook and Mena Suvari, Advent Children Complete includes 26 minutes of bonus footage and one thousand new scenes. There is also a 25-minute original anime short, “On the Way to a Smile – Episode: Denzel”, which tells the story of character Denzel before the events of Advent Children. Other extras includes a new featurette, a documentary and a storyline digest.
The Japanese version, released April 16, featured a playable demo of upcoming Final Fantasy XIII. Previously, FFXIII producer Yoshinori Kitase explained that because the game is being released on the PS3 and the Xbox 360 in the West, Square Enix has “no plans” for an English demo for Blu-ray FFVII: ACC. Instead, there will be a new Final Fantasy XIII trailer.

I agree that it’s cheap of them not to put in the PS3 demo of FFXIII (even if it’s the Japanese one with English Subs) just because they don’t want to upset 360 owners. It’s perfectly fine to have exclusive DLC on 360 for multiplatform games (GTA4 & Fallout 3 for example), but PS3 owners get left out again.
Still I’m sure the full game will be awesome…eventually.
