Run-and-gun classic Contra is getting a brand new game with WiiWare title Contra -ReBirth-. On May 12, the game will be be released in Japan for 1000 Wii Points.
According to the official page, the will feature two player co-op like the original Contra — so we’re assuming this means local co-operative play. No word on a Western release.
