Left 4 Dead Means Close-Knit Zombies
What is it with gamer girls sewing gifts for their guys? Sounds like arts-and-crafts meets Stockholm syndrome. Reader Alex K’s sis-in-law crocheted these adorable Left 4 Dead guys as a token of her (alienated) affection.
Says Alex: “I just received the following as a birthday gift from my sister in law. She’s been a mere spectator while my brother and I play through numerous Left 4 Dead campaigns…”
The zombies are, IMHO, the best of the bunch. But no offence to Alex or his sister-in-law, the Louis doll might need a little explaining to someone not hip to games.

best one , IMHO, is the bill doll its expression is just hilarious.
Considering the other ones don't really have mouths, she probably could have gotten away with not giving the Louis one octopus lips.

I hardly see the connection between this Louis plush and the golliwog. It doesn't at all look like a blackface character. He doesn't have those huge, red lips you'd see with on character of old. He has the same ":D" expression as the other three survivors.
He looks like a cartoonish black man, but not in a racial insult sort of way.

Anyrate, if you had that book, you could probably figure out patterns like these. It has existing templates for zombies, cthulhu, skeleton monsters, etc.
