Pokemon Gold And Silver Getting DS Remakes

It’s official. Pokémon Gold and Silver will be remade — something that was hinted at last weekend on Japan’s Pokémon Sunday TV program.

The tenth anniversary remakes will be called Pokémon Heart Gold and Poké Soul Silver — much akin to the Fire Red and Leaf Green Gameboy Advance remakes of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green.

The original Gold and Silver sold 23 million copies worldwide. Expect the DS remakes this autumn in Japan with newly added elements.

I don’t care about AU release. DS games are region free.. I just want it out in English :(

The best pokemon games to date…I’ll have to get Silver again.

Mmn, I’d really rather they remake Crystal, you know? In my opinion, Crystal was the best, hands down. Maybe they’ll make it as the ‘Platinum’ of the G/S remake. But mm, it’s nice to see that my favourite Pokemon games are being remade… I think it would be absolutely fabulous to see Yellow remade, as well.

I’m playing this game if IT’S THE LAST THING I DO. Silver was my first Pokemon game and will always be my favorite. <3 Gold was meh. Lugia is epic.

i know more its soulsilver and heart gold like yellow your pokemon can follow you but this game you can choose etc suicune follows you likes pikachu in yellow new islands are added in as well not sure if orange islands probly though this is going lead to remake for crystal and then ruby sapphire so all on ds then final game all 4 regions i have inside info, my pen pal from 4th grade so long ago is still my friend his dad makes pokemon so if you have any questions ask me ill ask him for you
