Am I the only one who feels they’ve lost a lot of gaming street cred for not knowing heaps of those games?

Lol.. don’t feel too bad. You would only ever know about a huge chunk of those games if your were really into the jp import and jrpg scene =3

Is Sakura Wars as in the really old steam-powered mech anime? Because that was pretty cool, although it’s been a few years since I saw it.

Yes the anime was based on that game.. it was actually part dating sim and part SRPG and part ADV/Visual Novel and part mini games xD

The SRPG part was the combat scenes where you control the main guy and the squad against the demons. The Dating Sim part was in between when you spent time w/ the girls and did mini games and stuff… building relationships with girls usually unlocked unite moves w/ the girls you could use during the combat bits.

It was one of the longest running classic SRPG series actually… no brainer everyones screaming fer a sequal…

On a side note.. wow.. the Toki Memo craze musta really died down over there in jp. That used to be the equivalent of Idolmaster ie. fanboi crack xD And sweet Grandia managed to squeeze in! xD

I fail to see why people still crave for Shenmue, can’t they see that essentially Yakuza (ryu ga gotoku) was pretty much created to get around the Shenmue liscensing problem. The is practically identical too in terms of gameplay and story.

Okami definitely could do with a sequel. Maybe not a direct sequel but something very close to the original.

Just give me a new metroid and the puppy doesn’t get hurt.
Oh yeah, a Resident Evil Outbreak game that actually has online in PAL regions would be greatly appreciated.
