Xi – Join The Veilcorp Team
The PlayStation Home alternate reality game Xi takes another step beyond the console as the shadowy corporate entity known as Veilcorp begins recruiting applicants in the New York and Los Angeles area.
Little is known about Veilcorp other than the fact that they claim ownership of anything having to do with Xi, suggesting that anyone hunting for it is in violation of their corporate rights. At the Veilcorp website, visitors can fill out an aptitude test that measures their suitability for a position with the company, after which those that are available for an “interview” in the New York City and Los Angeles areas are then asked to fill out a form. My aptitude test suggested I was executive material, however since I am nowhere near those two locations I had to pass on step two.
According to the official rules, 10 applicants in each city will score an all-expenses paid limo ride to an undisclosed location, where they will be filmed for inclusion in the Xi ARG.
Those interested can head on over to Veilcorp.com, select their country, and then select the more info link to access the aptitude test. Those not interested should probably have stopped reading by now.

I'm in LA and own a PS3 so I entered. Guess we'll see what happens.

@ShadowOdin is sad he missed Wyatt Cenac's visit to Sweden: Come on, this is like my best comment ever, and no-one responded T.T
@TysonPidgeot: OK, glad it's not just me running into that issue. For a bit I thought that maybe there was a secret login posted on the site somewhere.

It says I'm executive material too...maybe whatever you answer you'd be executive material..~_~
@Boxworth: Preferably under a bridge perhaps?
@Kazzahdrane: Oh! My noobiness! With the way HOME is going, they may start charging for it soon.
it's not ready yet; login & password required for QA

One of these days I'm going to send in a tip that you didn't know about.
*shakes fist* one of these days!
@UsernameOfTheDead: Wow, I noticed you said another trolling comment in the previous Home/Xi post.
I don't mind being taken to an undisclosed location, as long as I don't have to log onto freakin' PSN Home ever again.
So this mystery is run by Veilcorp, eh? They might sound legit, but what is really hidden behind the co-corporate veil? What are they veiling from the masses? What is their veiled agenda? When will it all be unveiled?
Man, all this mystery is making me hungry. Time for some veal.
People still use Home?

@Kamix: Interviewed by the United States Government? Awesome!
The first 2 questions seem to be copied from a Facebook quiz I did a while back.
@Archaotic: ARG?

Ackers
.......canadians arent allowed?
@MiltonZep: Grr...the company won't let me complete the application. Grr 2x
@Kamix: No no. That's Xe not Xi.

The more and more this goes on, the more it really seems like it's a long, drawn-out ARG that's going to lead into a game announcement.
@Kamix: Well, they are putting out another Saw this year aren't they?
Black-Dog-Howls
XI gets more and more interesting as time passes by.
@Kamix: That's it i am not applying and it wasn't because i don't like going out especially to social events.

@ShadowOdin is sad he missed Wyatt Cenac's visit to Sweden: Looks like no one else is aveilable at this time.
@Kazzahdrane: You say that like they did that to people who didn't deserve it.

@crashlanding: biscuits 'n gravy > Home
Xi is a pretty in depth puzzle, and you will have a hard time unraveling some of the clues. I just started over the weekend and it took me about 5 hours to get all the currently available goals, minus the expert level stuff (though I got a couple of those too).
Also, why the Home hate? First people beat it down for having nothing to do (with good reason), then when something to do is added people still complain. No good deed goes un-punished I guess. Besides that, Home is a social space not a games space. That there are more games to play within the space, all for free, is like biscuits and gravy. To top it all off, those of you that hate the thing can delete the app from your PS3, never to see its greusome face again! Try deleting part of the interface you don't like, along with the advertising, on another console network.
@Valnen: Ahahaha, good one. I'm no conspiracy nut but seriously? The guy that was just released back to the UK after 5+ (IIRC) years without trial and (he claims) was tortured based on nothing other than being Muslim and being in the wrong place (USA) at the wrong time (post-9/11)?
Maybe you think that is enough to "deserve it"?
Yes! I can now apply for a job that I know absolutely nothing about!
