You Cannot Stop Mai Shiranui Figurines

@the7k: Yep, the figure is expensive, but so are collectible toys.

Figures are not to be compared with cheap plastic crappy toys like the "figures" made in US...

Other than that, worldwide shipping, craftsmanship, material quality, character fidelity and several other stuff are to be considered before judging it's price.

Though yeah, figures are usually a little less expensive than that.

Also, this might surprize people who don't know much about figure, but Mai Shiranui (despite having a good number of versions by now), looses by far to some other charaters.

Yeah, I'm looking at you Ayanami Rei. :P

There are cooler characters with more interesting stories, yet people keep coming back to the chick with the biggest boobs. And last I checked it's not like she was ever an amazing character gameplay wise either.

Seriously, type "big tits" in to Google, whack it for a bit, and grow the fuck up. It's a goddamn video game. If you're not gonna get KOF since Mai isn't in it, than thank you. Saves me from playing one more idiot.

That's a very nice figure. Unfortunately, $84 is too much for a video game - its definitely way too much for a figure.

Don't get me wrong, I have a decent amount of figures myself, but I usually buy them on the cheap. I've never understood how figure makers can charge so damn much ... aside from the fact that people apparently buy them in droves.

Of course, being out of a job and surviving off of whats left of my tax return in the past couple of months has made me look at luxury purchases differently that a year ago...

Mai is one of the more interesting chars gameplaywise- always has been. Then again with KOF- the fatal fury chars tend to be the more interesting sorts.

The thing I wish is that they'd have Mai grow up and switch back to her FF3/RB1 outfit. I like that better then her classic outfit.

I'm holding off on KOF12, not because of no Mai, but because I'm worried the game will be broke.

That and I think it's important to like the characters in a game, but the other way around. Not play it because it has that character, but play a character you like. Then become good with it.
