Japanese Comedian To Game For 24 Hours Straight

Shinya Arino, star of reality program GameCenter CX, is set to do a live 24 hour episode of the show.

From the show’s official blog: “Finally… Really… Truly… a live 24-hour broadcast has been decided.” The show hasn’t worked out the details yet and is taking requests from fans of the show.

Back in fall 2007, I sat in on a taping of the show. Filming started in the morning and ran until midnight. So if anyone has the chops to play through for 24 hours and still be able to crack funny jokes, it’s Arino.
