LEGO Asteroids, LEGO Pac-Man & LEGO Frogger

kind of tired of the whole lego thing... can someone maybe try k-nex? or mega block? maybe even magnetix?

Was hoping for a lego version for Beserk or other classics. Great video btw, hated doing stop motion animation in college, way too time consuming.

@ADVENTURE.exe: I'm not sure where you're going with this, but it sounds like what you're saying is that you hate fun. I'm sorry to hear that. :(

I once took a stop-motion animation workshop when I was a kid. For something that's only two minutes long, that is time consuming. Even with the use of Legos, that had to take quite a bit of time, especially since the action had to sync with the sound.

@blalien: I guess. But the Asteroids one had the most glaring gameplay fault. What I remember of Asteroids (though I never played the actual arcade game) was that the thrusters accelerate your ship, so you keep your momentum after you stop the thrusters. I think the game would have been a lot easier if you just stopped whenever you stopped firing the thrusters.

It's definitely a nice effort, but this one is WORLDS better (plus they use household objects instead).

@Inzoum: This video is definitely well executed and must have took a lot of time, but the creator had a massive advantage since he could just snap the pieces to the board. I wasn't really impressed until the Asteroids.

Completely awesome. The Asteroid Spaceship physics are a bit off, but otherwise, flawless execution.

Stop-frame is pretty tricky. You can see the breakout one has some lighting issue. But still, cool. Love the Asteroids...I'm like, watch your left!! No..oh well. Insert another Lego quarter...

Awesomesauce! stop-motion animation takes a lot of time and effort, but when you see things like that, it's worth all of it.
