@Archaotic: Telltale has left me feeling stranded on more than one occasion (Sam & Max comes to mind). Being an owner of a PS3, a 360, and a Mac, there are some notable gaps in availability here.

And before anyone starts throwing tomatoes at me: Sam & Max and Monkey Island both WERE available on the Mac back in the day. We miss them and want them back.

I actually went over to Telltale and preordered the whole season before I finished reading the article. Limited Edition Preorder Bonuses include a free episode of any series, and a case hand-painted by Steve Purcell.

Telltale is a godsend to adventure game fans.

Maybe they wanted to do this for the 360 because it was easy to develop for. Maybe they thought they could be able to make a quicker transition from pc to console with the 360.

Telltale really cranks out the games. Think of all the franchises they've tackled: Sam and Max, Strong Bad, Wallace and Gromit, Bone, and now Monkey Island. Say what you will about the style of the games themselves, I think this system works very well for Telltale.

@frank0127: Especially if Telltale's current efforts are anything to go by. I want to really love the new Sam & Max, and the humor is about on spot, but there's way too much repetition in scenes and jokes to not get fatigued playing it for the full season.
