Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver have a street date for Japan: September 12.
These are tenth anniversary remakes of Pokémon Gold/Silver. The original Gold and Silver appeared on the Game Boy and sold 23 million copies worldwide.
Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Soul Silver will be packaged with pedometers dubbed the Poké Walker and will sell tons. Metric tons.

They did remake Blue. FireRed/LeafGreen were the Gen 1 remakes. In Japan, with the original releases of the games, they got Red and Green versions. Blue was the equivalent elsewhere in the world, and was pretty much the same game as Green.
