Hmmm sounds interesting. I don't actually remember reading that Natal technology built it, but it makes sense now. Thinking they just release a new console was strange.

It would definitely be a choice to watch closely.

It wouldn't be a new GENERATION. It will probably be labelled Xbox Natal or something like that. It's obviously a way to release Natal to wider audience. Some people may think buying the console and the Natal separately is too expensive if they are new to the Xbox scene. So to include it all in one is a marketing scheme.

Just whether or not the Xbox Natal will be pricier than the Elite we will find out. Either way, MS are NOT abandoning the 360 just yet, thankgod!

This could cause a Sony style backlash if the new generation costs more than the old 360s.
I have great doubts that the NATAL tech will be ready for any serious application within 2010. But if they can do it, then more power to MS! (If it also works in low power mode as a cable set top box, it would be great if I don't have to use a remote control to change the TV channel.. or switch to internet and just check my mail with air keyboard.)
