@Dear_God: I had a SDTV for my PS3 over a year before getting a HDTV. And when you DO get it it's worth every penny you spent, trust me :D

@kiunch: I think they'll add swords and melee combat when Ratchet & Clank gets their levels, with Ratchet's wrench and all. That pack is supposedly even larger than the MGS one.

I think the issue is that so few user-created levels are as good as the professionally made levels. It would be nice if there more more official levels.

Sure, I can make a level, but I'm not a paid video game designer. My level is decent, at best. And in my opinion its not really all that much fun to play your own level, since you know what's coming and how to do everything....you built it after all.

The point is the each new level packs add some new features.

MGS one adds the gun, so if they included SOTC, they could add new monster weak points, more detailed giant creature, climbing (!), or even sword (!!!!!!!!!!)

@Dear_God: I play my PS3 with a SD tv I found on a curb years back. The thing works. It makes reading some text difficult, but it isn't that bad. It doesn't make a game look bad or anything. I do love it when I hook it up to an HD tv via HDMI once a week, but it doesn't bother me that much. HD sets can be pricey.

@Ozymandias: Tell us how to find your levels and maybe we'll give 'em a play, eh? Actually that should get easier once they implement the new "sharing by link" functionality. Not sure how it will work but you can post links to your levels on the net, on websites, forums etc and somehow by the magic of technology you'll have them waiting for you in-game somewhere. In a queue or something.

Ah, I need to do some research but it's certainly a better method than wading through crap.

They also said that they were working on a pack way bigger than anything we've seen before, bigger than MGS4. Not sure if they mean this Team Ico pack or a Ratchet & Clank one.

Haven't bought anything for LBP for awhile, I'll definitely be getting this though.

I got a free LBP t-shirt today - from when that Sackboy toy offer was on, obviously I was too late for that, but they sent me a t-shirt anyway. Which was rather nice, even if there's no chance I'm never going to wear it.

I guess there's no way around it. At some point I'll need one anyway.

Oh and mellowspaz, to be fair, LBP PSP looks just as gorgeous considering that it's a.) portable b.) running on ps1.5 hardware.

@mellowspaz: I asked MediaMolecule about it in December and they said it would be coming, but ultimately I think it failed due to negotiation issues or something, much like the Sephiroth costume pack.

Unlike Left 4 Dead, I'm glad that LBP is a game we can count on to be updated through the years :D
