Shia LaBeouf Totally Hates The Wii

Here’s a pleasant change from seeing your average celebrity gushing over a video game: seeing a celebrity troll on the Wii.

Seems that while Shia LaBeouf – the star/destroyer of both the Transformers and Indiana Jones franchises – is a big-time gamer, he’s only a big-time gamer on the 360 and PS3. Which he seems to quite enjoy. When it comes to the Wii, however… things get trollish.

Speaking with Big Download, he says:

(BD) Have you checked out the Wii Transformers game?

(SL) I haven’t been able to play the Wii game because my hand is broken. I’ve just been playing Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I would imagine that the Wii experience will be like… I don’t mess with the Wii, to be honest with you. It’s kind of an amateur console. I’m not into the Wii thing.

(BD)What’s wrong with the Wii?

(SL)This is how in a simple way you can find out if it’s a gamer you want to play with. Ask them if they have a Wii. If they say yes, get the f*** out of there.

Bet Activision and Krome Studios, the people behind the Wii version of the game based on the upcoming Transformers 2 movie that LaBeouf is supposed to be promoting, are just delighted to hear that.

I’d say defiantly say I was a gamer, and I have a wii =S. Granted, I never play it by myself, only with friends, but still… Does that mean I’m not a gamer? Or a gamer with friends?

THey can’t really stop him from sayin things like this anyway. He doesn’t or probably doesn’t have a contract with with the developers or publishers. Only with the production company of the FILM!

Either way, freedom of speech & i couldn’t agree more.

Wow, so glad to hear an actor tell I’m not a real gamer because I own Wii. I guess I’ll just return my 360 to the store then and stick to Wii Fit.

But if the new Transformers game is anything like the one based on the first movie, I’ll getting the f**k out of there too, Shia.

Good to see that he is capable of bad mouthing a game that he is probably obligated to promote in his Transformers contract. Shame that he admits he has never played it. I wish I too was capable of forming opinions on things that I knew nothing about, life would probably seem much more simple.

lol He’s not badmouthing the game people; he’s badmouthing the system. Man people need to lighten up, everything sounds a lot more serious when its written – he was probably joking the whole way through that you don’t know.

I’m not sure if he’s trying to improve his gamer cred with such statements, but if anything he’s lowering it. For all the bad waggle and shovelware on the Wii, there’s more than enough strong content to stop it being a purely “amateur” console.

This is how in a simple way you can find out if it’s a gamer you want to play with. Ask them if they’re Shia LaBeouf. If they say yes, get the f*** out of there.

Your right, Shia has the right to an opinion and so do I, he can say the Wii is for amateurs and I can say his movies an his acting are even more amateur, no wait fuck it, Shia can kiss my fucking ass.

The Wii isnt an amateur console, he only hates it simply cause its different, something unique. I mean Shias right Nintendo dosent put anything onto the table, besides some of the greatest franchises in gaming history.

You not what LaPOOF (yeah i went there) maybe will just forget you said anything bout the wii like we try to forget yah performance in Indy 4

What a douche, he plays the crappy Transformers game on two consoles and then tries to act elite by bashing the wii.

Read this. Taken from atpictures.com website.
    ———–
Actor Shia LaBeouf is horrified after discovering the meaning of his name in French.

The Disturbia star blames his grandmother for changing the family name, and no one thought to reference what Shia La Beouf might mean in other languages.

He explains, “It’s a constant day to day struggle. My name’s spelled wrong. My grandmother was a beatnik lesbian in the 50s, who hated her family and decided to change the spelling of her name, so it’s misspelled.

“If you go to France people are like, ‘La Beouf! You have an illiterate last name.’ And Shia means s**t in French.

“My last name means ‘the beef,’ so the name means ‘sh*t the beef out.’”

He’s got a pretty stupid opinion, but why does this article sound butthurt over it?

“Seems that while Shia LaBeouf – the star/destroyer of both the Transformers and Indiana Jones franchises”

Transformers has been destroyed for ages now, and lets face it, Shia didn’t give Speilberg the idea for wacky monkeys and aliens.

More reasons to hate the wii.

    1. It is for poor people.
    2. The graphics are awful.
    3. The games all suck.
