The Clips Of E3: Day One

Between trailers, teasers and gameplay footage, there’s almost enough movie time here to warrant an entire evening’s worth of popcorn.

My personal favourite of the day’s clips is the LEGO Harry Potter teaser — but I’m a sucker for all things LEGO-related. A close second is the Ayane gameplay footage, followed by the Old Republic trailer. If you have no idea what I’m talking about because you missed all of this glorious, game-related cinema, go through the list below and start watching.

I’ll just be at the store, buying more popcorn for tomorrow’s night’s E3 clip binge.

@i_9: Yea- I saw the trailer on my 360 and thought it was the same 'clip' we saw at the briefing... but it's completely different and really about 50x better! Some AMAZING shots in there!

I utterly disagree with "yourenzyme". I thought Halo 3's SPG was awesome. From start to finish- a really excellent experience. 2 sorta sucked- sadly, but 1 and 3 were phenominal experienced IMO. If ODST is like those- I'd gladly pay $60 to live it.

  • yourenzyme

@i_9: It looked just like the last 3 halo games. I do hope that ODST actually has a decent single player campaign unlike Halo 2,3

@i_9: wooo now i checked the odst gameplay, looks awesome :) cant believe people want bungie to do new Ips when what theyre already doing is bloody awesome

I really enjoyed the ODST demo, it's looking good and the silenced weapons look fun to wield.

I hope we see more about MGS: Rising later in the Expo.

I´m ready for this indeed. Nice to see microsoft at it´s best. ANd for the milo kid...I wanna see that tec a year o two from here. But with a horny girl and a big bottle of lotion!

MGS rising anyone else got opinions of what the gameplay will be like/ hope its like? After seeing 'sneak in' at the end of the trailer but 'lightning bolt action' in the subtitle I think it could be a Tenchu sorta feel. Like a ninja stealth game, hopefully done better than Tenchu's latest iteration. I don't think they'd go completely hack n' slash with a Ninja Gaiden style.
Of course my actual hopes are they just keep the MGS formula and tweak as necessary maybe for some sword stealth kills.

Scientists are saying the future is going to be far more futuristic than they originally predicted.

@Hal Cohen: lol. It looks like the game works well. I just wonder how far the devs took it in terms of depth and length. How many days do you talk to milo? Do you go on bikerides, car rides, swimming etc etc. Now if only Molyneux would create a dating sim with this technology. I've been waiting for Wii interactive jiggle festz from Ubisoft, but they haven't gotten around to it.

First @PAULINK: First thing I thought when I saw the Milo vid - I feel sorry for the crap that virtual kid is gonna be put through x_x

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: Ride, man. It's coming soon. It's no where near as awesome, though.

I'd like to post a video of that burn but unfortunately there is none I can find.

Let's see how Nintendo will response to that.
Will Sony stay out of it or will they just join the smack talking? We'll see.

    @BarbeQueQ:

Go 2:30 in. This is the future.

    Also, just for fun.

    @BubbleF**kingBuddy: You and you're 4chaning, namef**kinglastname.

    <3 you're a brave one.

  • BarbeQueQ

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: No, the highlight was when Kudo burned Nintendo:

"This isn't the kind of game where you just end up on the sofa using some kind of preset waggle commands."

  • PAULINK

@Razorwire_Troop: GOD DAMN IT MILO LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE, NOW I'M GOING TO HAVE TO KILL YOU.

E3 sure did kick off great. Most of the rumors turned out to be true and what we've seen was quite satisfying, too.

    Well, except for Ubisoft's conference.

  • Jilkon

Isn't this "Day One" you speak of technically the pre-E3 stuff?

  • TaylorEatWorld (Douche Chillll)

@Razorwire_Troop: Now tell me I'm pretty Milo; my day was so terrible.. Let me draw you some obscene pictures and hand them to you through my T.V.

    O___O

  • i_9

I don't know why I haven't seen it posted yet, but the new Halo ODST gameplay trailer is probably the best thing I've seen come out of E3 today. The new price doesn't even come close to being a concern. Aside from that, SWTOR - woot!

    i_9

  • Razorwire_Troop

My popcorn is hot. Can you get me some water, Milo? Thanks. I'll pretend to drink it while you compliment me about it.

  • Thorax

Milo and Natal keeps making me hope that they will finally be able to make a 12 Angry Men game that you play by trying to convince other jurors that a young man is innocent.

My god, why do I want that game so badly!?
