Toothless People Can Still Be Cover Models, Too
The champagne from the Stanley Cup final is still fizzy and we’ve already named next year’s NHL 2K coverboy – it’s Washington’s Alex Ovechkin, sporting a grin a jack o’lantern would love.
The burly Russian appears “with fists clenched and mouth agape in a celebratory scream,” says the Capitals’ official website. It looks like he’s been eating scrap metal. And not flossing.
Reached at his home in Snake Mountain, Trap Jaw from the Masters of the Universe was delighted to hear of his brother’s selection.
Ovechkin is a finalist for the NHL’s Hart Trophy, given to the league’s MVP.

A bit of a silly pose but if there’s one thing Ovie knows how to do it’s celebrate I guess.
Makes a whole lot more sense than putting Patrick Kane on the cover of EA NHL10 when all the new features seem to be focused around enforcers.
