This is one of the many reasons I stopped playing WoW. Something that, not only should have been changed at the start when people were clamoring for it in the first place, but rather than work on improving the game and fixing bugs, the developers procrastinate by making pretty kitty skins.

Well, its based off their skin tone while in human form (even though you can change the new skins by changing hair color, which is a little weird. The tauren way of changing skin tone makes more sense). So, of course the nelf shapeshifted forms will run from pink to purple/blue, while taurens run from yellowish to brown/black.

For a very long time, the way to tell fake patch notes was because they always promised updated Druid forms.

have quit playing wow a long time ago (shortly before the first addon was released). And even then I was wanting better textures for my druid. So the only thing I can say is: "Its about time"

I don't play a Druid but I can really appreciate the thought on Blizzard's end. The current looks aren't very epic when compared to the appearance of many of the end game instances. They needed to update the look and I'm satisfied now that they did.

Granted they did nerf the tail to a pathetic nub... as long as it doesn't perform some kind of ability reminiscent of a Limit Break, it'll probably slide under S/E's radar.

Still don't care about this, lemme know when Moonkin / Tree of Life or any of the "Secondary" forms (Travel, Aquamonster) gets new skins.

@Shredator: You know, i think the same. Its just the Tauren cat forms have better colour schemes. Blizzard seems to be going for a purple-pinkish colour scheme with all the night elf forms, which doesn't really look all that great.
