A boy and his Bob. The most boring game i ever played... just thinking about the bad controlls makes me sick. I dont even know in real live, a single person who liked this game on Game Boy Classic.

No hating but i really have no idea why people have so much fate in to the DS Version. Where does the hype come from?

I think that engineer is based off a comic called nerf now.

@voxie: If you want to avoid hitting the uncanny valley, you either need a top-of-the-line face simulator which is far out of reach for indie games (and little unknowns like the Boy+Blob reimaging), or you deliberately choose to stay far from it.
Cartoony art also ages well: games which tried to be foto-realistic a few years ago now look horribily outdated, as will the current winners in the future.
But a Mario, or indeed a Boy+Blob, will look as good 20 years from now as it does today.
