I grew up with FF and CYOA. FF > CYOA in my book, FF seemed more mature with the grisly deaths than CYOA, though both had a lot of great stories.

My favorite FF book was House of Hell. I never was able to finish it.

Whooooa! I’m re-reading it as we speak. we have the old version and we found a new re-print of it at a garage sale.
