Gears Of War Designer Interested In New Style

I think it would be sweet to have a ton of neon colors. with dark blacks as the accent. I dunno, but I'm a fan of purple, lime Green, and pink. I dunno if Gears of war will work with that but I'd think neon would be a sweet color style.

New style? They would need to dump the entire game to give it a decent style.

As it is now the game is like a boring, cliched, dry, sterile hollywood special effects mindless summer movie. With a cast of characters that are just so cool and testosterone laden they act bored when in firefights and cant possibly have one word of dialouge that is decent or sounds like it came from a real person.

Then the entire landscape is nothing but chest highwalls which 97% of your battles take place behind.

And the entire games color pallete is virtually every version of gun metal and dirt possible.

I can never understand how GOW got so popullar, oh wait yes I do. Cliffy "Im a media whore" blexinifnishki ran around like a typical frat boy holding a plastic chainsaw gun and acting like a goofball and convined everyother fratboy and impressionable young kid that the game was good so they bought into it.

You don't even have to have a happy atmosphere to have more color in the game. Just because it's a bombed out city, doesn't mean there can't be color from it's remnants. Just look at Uncharted 2's bombed out city. It still looks like there was life that was there once and used color in it's design.

Sounds like hes saying that the next game wont be more colorful but rather a different genre. Like the current Gears of Wars are 3rd person shooters, the next few could be open ended or stealth games. Anythings possible I suppose. You could play a sniper in the Cog Army

On a gears related note, I like gears and hate it when people bash it for the guys being muscular, even if they were skinny it would still be a great game.

Gears of War 5 a safe bet? Are you crazy?!

GoW4 trashes the franchise and Epic isn't be sure how to continue. Long story short they decide to reboot the franchise in Gears of War 5 under a different subtitle and setting. It succeeds and Gears of War 6 is once again a safe bet.

Mostly all because lightsaber-guns were invented and Dude Huge and now legally-named Chocolate Rein decapitated a good 63% of the staff. Turns out that was such a cool idea for a videogame that it was in that direction that Gears of War 5 went.

Epic keeps shelling out generic games with pretty graphics. They need to invest in hiring a professional writer. Also seeing a bunch of football player sized characters as a result of one of Cliff's wet dreams isn't really appealing anymore. The horrible mess that Unreal Tournament III for PC was... just turned me off. There's a story for you Kotaku. The horrible online connectivity bugs that Unreal Tournament III has. To this day I have never played UT 3 Online. The moderators at Epic Games forums lock any threads on the online connectivity issue almost immediately.

I think that he's going to make Jizz Jackrabbit next. Come on - what else could it be?
