Hey, Tim Schafer, What About Brutal Legend On PC?

Brutal Legend is looking awesome, but as of yet, it’s only confirmed to be appearing on Xbox 360 and PS3. What about this generation’s ugly stepsister, the PC?

In a break from EA’s recent policy, which has seen titles like Mirror’s Edge and Dead Space arrive on the PC, Tim Schafer’s heavy metal adventure won’t be. At least not initially.

Responding to questions from Eurogamer readers, Schafer says “Well it’s really an action game, that when you play it you’ll see that it was meant to be on a console”, before following up with “We are really focused on the Xbox 360 and PS3 version right now.”

Interesting. A PC port later down the line, maybe? And while we’re on the subject, I think Schafer may be surprised at how many people use 360 pads while gaming on a PC…

What is a console? A computer with a gamepad? A “console game” is only something that is better played with a gamepad (and usually has the experience dumbed down but that’s a topic for another day).

Wasn’t Cinderella the one that stayed at home in an obscure life while the ugly stepsisters went to the ball?

    PC is awesome.

Yeah, it’s been a pretty pissant cop-out on Double Fine’s part.
