Oh man, I'd be all over this if it was on PS3. The first Xbox one is still the most Metal game I've ever played. That game was fucking fantastic. Here's a trailer for this. I got chills when I first saw this.

Yay! Finally. I have been waiting for this since 360 launch. Now if they'd make 2 backward compatible please. I never got to play it :(

The hell? I thought this was going to be a game based on the Crusades until I saw the giant troll.

I hate sounding cynical, but I see two colors in these screen shots: Grey and brown.

@Archaotic: I agree, I know it's meant to have an extra chapter or something and 100% voiced dialogue but that's all I know that's extra. Quite a good set of stuff still but I wasn't too interested anyway.

Didn't Sony have a rule that games that come on the PS3 after others have to be given extra content or was that just if it's a year down the line or something?

I think it looks utterly fantastic. I had a blast with the other two strategy-focused games (let's not mention the other 360 game). I always thought it was what Dynasty Warriors or Kessen should have been. Really nice artistic design, too!

PS3 version please. Cause I'd buy it, people would buy it = moar money for you dummies!

Oh gee. Really hoping this turns out well. Loved the entry for XBOX, but Blueside has not done too great yet this generation.

Here's hoping they turn it around on this one.

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: Well, the PS3 version of Vesperia has a lot more content than just Patty...the only reason she's getting so much publicity is because underage girls in stupid costumes sell extremely well in Japan. The entire game is pretty much a director's cut.

But yeah, I doubt KUF2 is going to have any bonus content for the PS3 version when it hits, I don't think the developers would do that to their fans especially when the franchise has historically been XBOX-ntive.

@Archaotic: Yeah well if you get it then that's cool too. At least I'll get to play it but if it goes on PS3 with more content then it'll just be another one of those games that makes me wish I got PS3 instead.

Hopefully it's not another loli pirate. That didn't work to make me want PS3 tales of vesperia but on Kingdom under fire I'd find it funny.

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: Well, as far as I've heard, this one still is going to PS3, it's just not being prioritized for a launch day release with the other two versions.

@Archaotic: Because I bought a 360 hoping for a very select few of my favourite games to get sequels.

Kingdom under fire (check)
Ninja gaiden (disappointingly going on PS3 as a superior title)
Halo (check)
Star wars knights of the old republic (lost to the PC crowd and going MMO rather than standard RPG)
Dead or alive (check)
Otogi (no sequel or anything known)

In other words if it went to PS3 half of the games I bought my 360 hoping it would get the sequels for would have not arrived or been on PS3 anyway. It's not like I want PS3 fans to miss out on anything but they do have there own games and these are the games I bought my 360 for. Not games I expect to go on PS3.
If you get what I mean. Like it's the stuff I payed for, I bought a 360 because I expected these titles to be exclusive so I'd have rather bought a PS3 and not wasted my money on a 360 if they went on PS3.

@Sheky+BB+KOF12+MvC2=2D Orgy: As far as I've heard, it still is coming to PS3, just later on. Not even really a timed exclusive, just that the PS3 version wasn't prioritized to be a day and date launch, especially due to the franchise's historical relationship with the XBOX platforms.

@Sheky+BB+KOF12+MvC2=2D Orgy: They never openly stated it was going to PS3 but I did notice a lot of people were assuming it would go to PS3 based on the 'PC & consoles' statement. From what I read in interviews there was mentions of the 360 and the PC versions but never any mention of a PS3 one so I think people were just being wishful.

Still it may come out later or something.

I loved the first 2. The 360 rpg was ok... but not even close to the originals.

Looking at the first pic I'm pretty excited. Seems like you can control more units than ever despite the great visual upgrade. I've been waiting for this game for ages but I'm glad to hear it's 360 and PC only.

@elitesoulman: Me too. I only really had a problem with the fact that you couldn't control other generals too (which would make your soldiers do a bit more damage if you felt like switching to them).

Other than that I loved it from start to beginning.

@laser beams: The earlier game that's best to try is Kingdom under fire: the crusaders. It's the first one done in this style of gameplay since the others were regular strategy games on PC and if you have a 360 the crusaders is backward compatible unlike KUF:heroes. Also Kingdom under fire:circle of doom is an action game so will not help you decide if you like this one.

KUF:the crusaders was a great game though and I recommend it. At least then you can see if you like the series before paying £40 for the new one.

Now this is a KUF game that looks worth playing.

Since the previous one was pretty bad. :/

I played Crusaders on the Xbox and really liked the premise. Some of the elements were wonky but i liked the mix between single-warrior combat and squads of soldiers helping out.

never tried this series. but this looks pretty cool. should i play an earlier game- or should i just wait for this one?
