Kotaku’s Next Xbox Live Community Playdate Is…?

…entirely up to you. I wanna know what game you want to be featured in the next Kotaku Xbox Live Community Playdate.

Regular Live users will know there’s an Events section on the 360 dashboard. There you’ll find regular Community Playdates, giving you the opportunity to get online with a whole bunch of other Australians for some (hopefully) lag-free online gaming.

I’m about to book in a Playdate for Kotaku readers, scheduled for August 7. But I wanna know what game you want to play.

Your choices are:

* FIFA 09
* Gears of War 2
* Street Fighter IV
* Worms 2

Vote for one of these in the comments below and we’ll do this democratically.

To participate in the playdate, just send a friend request to “KotakuAUST” and use the friends of friends feature to find other Kotaku readers.

    Do Worms 2, as we might actually be able to recognise each other better, because there’s like, what, 5 a side.

    Also it would be good to start up a Aus Kotaku steam group and organise some pc bashes

    I would say Gears of War 2 only because it’s the only one out of those I have. (I don’t bother buying any new FIFA games anymore because they’re all the same)

      I used to agree with this but I very wrong, Fifa 09 is like no other football game and actually puts the once great PES series to shame. Can’t wait for Fifa 10.

      Other then that I vote for Gears as it’s heaps easier to find a Aussie/playable connection with Fifa and SF IV

    Street Fighter IV, although it looks pretty strongly like it’ll be Gears 2.

    What I’d like is a forum attached to Kotaku where like-minded Kotakuites could organise games themselves, outside these community playdates. I certainly like the idea of the playdates, but I’d like to be able to organise something outside of this with other like-minded people.

      Well, once you’ve joined in one Playdate, you should have a bunch of new Live friends.

      As for a proper forum, I have some ideas. Coming soon…
