Less a game than an interactive poem, Aubergine Sky will either touch you unexpectedly or leave you cold.
It’s similar to Daniel Benmergui’s Today I Die in that regard. Designer Jonathan Whiting has written an intimate poem that you reveal in tender, tactile fashion. It doesn’t possess Today I Die’s playfulness – and, to be honest, there’s even less “game” to be found here – but there’s something about the metaphorical link between the lines of text and the mouse movements you’re required to make that struck a chord with me.
Or perhaps I’m just a massive wanker softy.
