It felt like the right thing to do. Playing the japanese levels dressed as a ninja was kinda cute xD I guess I'm answering my own question here.

@Minamu: Well, you don't have to buy/ like it, but when you say you don't see the point..hm, did you feel that same way about unlocking those hard to get costumes, like the ones where you had to ace or 100% (or both?)? I can't possible imagine someone saying "meh, not gonna ace boom town, only get a silly costume" it makes it more fun in the aspect I can choose diffrent get ups. I bought quite a few lbp dlc ( mgs , kz 2 etc) they also add stickers for levels, if im not mistaken.

I haven't seen one yet. Most of what's out there are 'look what I can do' demos - the music players, the X trophies in X seconds, the roller coasters, the X user-created items, the 'how to make [insert random character] costume levels. Those are all trash. Yeah it's neat that you can do those types of things, but... how many do we need?

I've seen some great ones with decent sections or ideas, but when taken in as a whole no complete level was jaw dropping awesome. I know they're tough to make, so I'm usually kind on my ratings of user-created levels but overall unless they're copying something already made, the levels are incoherent and disjointed with some great perks.

For the record, I love LBP. I just hate people using that 'over a million user created levels' thing as though it was a good point. 1,000,000 levels. Less than 0.1% worth looking at.

Frankly, I've never seen the point in LBP costumes. Apart from the MGS characters, they never have any particular gameplay attached to them. I honestly don't get it. I've downloaded the free stuff, but paying for it? No way.

I honestly can't see how the game gets any more fun to play just because you're dressed up like Wolverine...

@excel_excel: He looks great for sure, and maybe they will add gloves that can shoot in this patch instead of being tied solely to guns, but that little taped A on Cap's helmet melts my icy black heart.

Thayer still needs Sack: Spiderman (would be easy to sticker him into Symbiote suit oblivion), Sentry (sweet cape and hair to work with for others), Gambit, Magneto, Deadpool(arguably interchangeable with Spiderman, since they look pretty similar), and Cable (glowing eye please).

Seeing Wolverine Sackboy, doesn't make me want to play LBP (maybe a little) but it sure as hell makes me want to watch/read/play Wolverine/x-men and even if it didn't the fact that I have now thought about Wolverine while talking to you has made me want adamantium claws.

Even the thought of it, sounds like a PR spin from MM to make you feel better about handing over the dosh.

@Crash__Man: Because they're purely cosmetic, entirely optional, and offer nothing of contributing value to the game? It's not like you have to pick them all up or that you're missing out on content because they're trying to nickel-and-dime you thru DLC. It's purely up to you which ones you want to pick up. For me, I'm happy with my Kratos preorder costume, Team Ico costumes, and the ones I picked up with the MGS4 pack.

1 came with the game, 5 came with a DLC content pack, and 3 I actually paid for the costumes by themselves. So there's 49 other costumes (I'm assuming your count is correct) I could pick up, but why? I dropped a couple bucks on the ones that I really like and I'm happy with that.

If there was any significance behind them or, for some reason, you felt compelled or were OCD enough to feel like you had to buy them all, then maybe. Seems most of us don't mind dropping what amounts to some spare change or a candy bar to deck our character out in something that personally appeals to what we like.

Seriously, I think Media Molecule should release these costume packs free, and then only make us pay for the larger forms of DLC that include new content.

A great example of this would be the MGS4 pack, not only did it come with costumes, but it also came with MGS4 themed levels along with the introduction of the Paint Gun.

@Mike Newlad: Well, Media Molecule does have to pay for the license. That's why the licensed characters cost more. Sure, you can consider it an advertisement, but the companies aren't paying MM to put their properties in the game. MM is shelling out the money to let you have the costumes, so they have to charge more.

Now, if they force fed us movie posters and trailers, then that would be an advertisement. But none of the licensed costumes or sticker packs have ads.

I have downloaded every "free" piece of DLC that has been released, and the "Metal Gear" level pack, but I have never bought any character clothing DLC, until I just saw that Wolverine.

This has reminded me I should pop LBP back into my PS3 some point and give it another blast. Absolutely loved it at the time but fell victim to a pretty hectic release schedule at the time. I'm pretty keen to see what new user-created levels there are these days. Is Azure Palace still the standard or has it been surpassed?

What's funny is pretty much everybody with LittleBigPlanet already has homemade versions of these costumes.

But I'll still get these...sigh.

Oh that is really fuggin kick ass! I still have to give the users of LBP credit. With such little supplies they had (beginning of LBP) they were able to make iron man and captain america.

I really want a MGS like expansion with these and the ico/SoC set, this stuff is amazing and fun, but give me some MM created content.

I understand user created levels some are great (most are not) but i want something official like "The Avengers" Mission Pack and Ironman better have a paint gun in his hands!

Out of the three shown Captain America looks the best. I would love to see lots of characters from the Marvel Universe make the cut for LBP. I also would hope to see so of the bad guys too.
