this is way better than the Ninja Gaiden Sigma Collectors Edition from Gamestop. it came with the Bonus DVD with a... below par making of the game (it was more like a "learn about the director" but MGS4 Limited Edition had that and it was 10x better, and that was on Bluray)

@The Forgetful Brain: Do you mean the Pegasus key that opens the door leading to the drawbridge lever? I had to check a guide at that part when I first played Ninja Gaiden Black a few years ago. They put the key in a hidden box nowhere near the locked door!

The DVD case has the soundtrack CD, that's all. Other content include a concept art book, a manga, and the code I mentioned. The accessory set seems to be a key chain with an removable face plate.

Sigma 1 and even NGII on the 360 (and NG/NGB before them) all had both English and Japanese voice and text. The current gen versions even had all PAL region languages.

It's ok. If you want the same benefits/effects that this game would have upon you, simply do these things:
-Drink a lot (to amplify everything that happens below)
-Blow something up (covers the awesome fun parts)
-Close your eyes and run down the block (covers the absolutely horrific camera)
-Go to a strip club in space (Boobies in zero g!)
-Take a cheese grater to each of your calves (covers the frustration and awfulness)
-Continue to grate your legs (continues the coverage of the awfulness)
-Stab yourself with a pen (venting your frustration, the continued pain and frustration)
-Go to sleep (suddenly stopping the game because you just can't fucking finish that one god damn boss you've worked for over 2 hours to beat)

That about covers it, doesn't it?

It just saddens me how much better the collector's editions are in Japan. They've gotten better in recent times too with the RE5 one for example that made both the US and PAL ones look like crap.

I'll just cancel my US pre-order and get this one instead. I'll have to wait a few extra days but it'll be worth it.

The starter set includes a code for a costume. They included a guide with the first shipment of Sigma in Japan too. Nice little book with the move lists for Rachel and the Tiger's Claw & Dragon's Fang.
