Second Life Lawsuit Dropped By Taser, Bro
Remember that dumb-ass lawsuit Taser filed against Linden Lab, because Second Life users were selling and using taser-like devices? Well it’s been dropped, but it could come back.
Taser was looking $US75,000 from Linden Lab because they allowed virtual Tasers to be sold in the game they run. Turns out they very swiftly dismissed their own complaint because Linden never replied to the original filing. Its voluntary dismissal was filed in May but was just now reported – not like we expected them to issue a press release on it.
The case was withdrawn “without prejudice,” which doesn’t mean it’s an equal-opportunity employer – it means the complaint can be brought up again if Taser so chooses. Here’s some free legal advice: don’t. Just focus on making your weapons so our cops can jolt grandma, OK?

From reading this post, it is obvious that Mr. Good thoroughly enjoys Tasers and often speaks at length about his fondness for the devices, as well as the company that makes them. The photo used helps illustrate this, as well- utilizing a well-known cinematic icon to help illuminate the position.
LOL Taser... good luck trying to milk a cow that's already been dead and rotting for ages.
But I hope they continue with the lawsuits. Because Taser will shurely spend more money on the process than the ammount they'll be able to profit from it... a valuable lesson it'd be.

Bro, you just totally blew my mind...a video game lawsuit which doesn't include violence or Tim ("Edge") Langdell.
And I just expected news that a real crime took place, that people we're using Second Life as a black market for real weapons, and I find this silly thing.

At least this suit didn't end in douchiness- it just started in it.
@rookybeats: DONT TAZE ME BRO!
So what about the fact that you can attach penors to your limbs and penors on your penors and join S&M clubs... or so I've heard.
What? Tasers in Second Life?
What did they do to you?
