@mykalgaidin: A rather extreme view. In my opinion, Sony are in vastly better shape with the PS3 now than they were when I bought mine (a little over a year ago). As for reputation, I think their reputation in a lot of areas - such as build quality - is still very much assured.

@mykalgaidin: They also need to fire the dipshits in marketing. If there's ever a point of contention within any company it's that the asses in marketing always try to force any issue to their favor and not to the rest of the company's overall objectives.

*Pretends he knows nothing of the event involving the winner of the create a weapon contest...*

@AncientUnknown1: Twilight groupies *shudder* God damn infestation at the last comic con.

For some reason I hatted Uncharted. The shooting was to much and obviously drawn out to lengthen the game and the platforming felt loose and sloppy next to Naughty Dog's previous games Crash and Jak and Daxter.

I'd like to say the movie like pacing was neat but I would be lying since the gun fights completely ruin the pacing.

But the 2nd game may resolve all these issues but I'll be waiting for the greatest Hits version of Uncharted 2. Which if we look at the first game will be 2011.

@Sloopydrew: You're not alone in that assessment--it's been a huge complaint from old school con-goers for quite a number of years.

The trouble is with most cons--and pretty much everything in the world is, evolve or die. Cons experiment by bringing in different things like other formats. It starts with direct-to-video, or a syndicated sci-fi show when the turnout grows bigger, then a few B-movies, maybe a video game or two, and then eventually the major movie. Eventually, you end up with what Comicon is now. The thing makes money, and I can't blame them--movies and video games make more money than comics do.

@(Zombie) Jolan: They do! Too bad they are in Japanese tho...

  • mykalgaidin

@FP_slomo788: Sony needs a complete PR makeover. Their reputation, as far as I can see, is not just in the toilet, it's been flushed and is halfway to the sewer. With the rats.

  • Xusder

@Gorilla Snow is Maximum Risky: They definitely do. Considering how they get Rigor Mortis in all the right places :).

  • (Zombie) Goldwings

@bakagaijin: lol don't worry about it, it sure made MY day XD

  • CarlMarssilas13

@FP_slomo788: Hopefully Syphon Filter will get a reboot.:)

@bakagaijin: let me try this again.

@AncientUnknown1: South Park hit the nail on the head with that particular group. I told my little brother to steer clear of them. They don't have them in High school now do they?

  • Gorilla Snow is Maximum Risky

@(Zombie) Jolan: Do zombie dudes have zombie girlfriends?

    Gorilla Snow is Maximum Risky

@(Zombie) Goldwings: I thought they would have been more troubled by the Twilight groupies.

Call me old-school and extra-geeky, but I really miss the days when Comic-Con was about comics.

After typing that, I realize it probably isn't the most popular thing to say on a video game site. But seriously, how many comic events and panels do we have at PAX, TGS or E3?

  • FP_slomo788

@mykalgaidin: I feel next year will be the "year of the sequel" for the PS3, as far as Sony is concerned at least. GT5, Last Guardian, GoW3, rumored Socom 4 and Syphon Filter 5. J&D will probably at least get unveiled next year too.

I suspect Sony will want to boost the momentum of a price cut/new model with some old, popular franchises at full price while offering the "new" ones in bundles and reduced price. That would effectively turn all those AAAs the PS3 has been getting into true system sellers.

Well, that's what I would do in their shoes. But it's Sony we're talking about, so who knows.

@Mucudadada: Ha! I have a clank outfit ready to go

    He's... It's a secret agent so I guess mine's better.

Record the panels and put them on PSN please, Sony.

Enjoy you little pervert. It's all about the accent for me.

  • mykalgaidin

Screw Ratchet & Clank, I want a PS3 follow-up to Jak 3! What will happen now that the Precursors have been uncovered? Is Jak *the* Mar? Will Daxter get to keep his pants? The mind reels from possibility, sheer vertigo overwhelming the senses.

  • (Zombie) Jolan

    @Andrefpvs: only online
In real life I am a much more capable lover.

  • Andrefpvs

    @(Zombie) Jolan:

So you're one of those who get excited in one second and then it all ends, huh?

  • uchennaokafor

That other female character in Uncharted 2 has a great great ass.

Just had to point that out.

  • (Zombie) Goldwings

Didn't comic fans have a problem the past couple of years because of the games? I guess petitions don't hold any power. Of any form.

  • Mucudadada

How hard would it be for me to sneak in to these events? Maybe it's time to put my Ratchet costume to the test...

  • (Zombie) Jolan

I was excited til I saw "-Con"
I would love some graphic novels of those series.
