@Kobun: Oh I know; but still, I find this new system puts too much pressure on the star commenters. I can't please everybody 100% of the time and I think enough star commenters here already know me well enough to promote my worthy posts to the first page anyway. I'd rather my comments were appreciated or even berated on their own merits; not just because I have some special privileges. It feels like what once was a sign of integrity is now a full time job. These days I'm always hesitant to participate to a discussion because I know I will be judged not only for my own posts, but also those I choose to reply to. It doesn't really work for me; especially when many of the most commented discussions are still troll threads and voicing my opinion in or attempting to better inform them is highly discouraged.

Well, I do believe some hazing is in order for Kotaku's newest editor. I myself had to ear dear antler's for an entire work shift back in college. May have been funnier if it was actually near Christmas at the time, but my bosses insisted hunting season was more appropriate.
