Holy crap! It has been sooo long since I've been to the Kerby Derby! Its a cool little parade that the folks on Kerby street throw. They have evrything from local ice cream, artsy car parades (I'm assuming these went on the sides of some cars), and even a 'soap box' style race down the street. The one car i remember the most was a mk3 VW Golf with a giant mosquito on the top!

So much fun. Wish I was still in Raleigh (kinda sorta)!!

You know, when I think of "stop-motion animation," I tend to believe there will be both motion and animation frames. Not just things moving left and right a bit.

I guess asking for a walking animation would've been too much to ask for, huh?

That wasn't all that neat... those post-its were on cardboard, I would of love to see more animation in a stop motion, do the same donkey on the oposite side and you could of flipped it around to atleast make him beat his chest.

@flanker22: I agree. The face that Post-It notes were used is irrelevant since they just moved the cardboard cutout as one solid object... and even then the entire thing was jerky and awkward with poorly-synched sound effects. Very underwhelming.

I enjoyed it for what it was. Thought it was cool for post it notes. Got to admire the craft that went into making something that looked like twice the size of a person. The cliffhanger was great too. I can't wait for part 2 if they do one.

that was kinda shitty actually. animated poorly and its not like they placed post-its each time but it was on some cardboard which they just moved. there are a million times better stop motion animations on youtube which are much more news worthy such as the megaman 9 one.

also they needed that many people to make this pos?

I was extremely proud of it when I made it, but I made it in an afternoon when I was bored (I'm still using the leftover Post-its) and I took it off the wall two years ago. It was cool, but it was only one character, and it didn't move or anything.

I know my thing is awesome, but it's just not as awesome as what the people in this video did.
