Even though I’ve plugged an unhealthy amount of hours into Guitar Hero and Rock Band, enough to learn a real instrument or cure a cancer or four, I apologise for nothing!

Rather, my shame lies at the feet of Fiddy Cent. Even though I should know better, I kind of liked 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. The gameplay was competent (the devs did copy from the best) but everything else was stupidly hilarious.
What other game allows me to “jump over that big ass ramp” in my 4WD, only to have the ramp, apropos of nothing, EXPLODE as I jump it?! And there’s an achievement for it!

Anything Sonic. Sonic 1 on the Megadrive was the first game I ever played, so I find myself buying any Sonic game that comes out nowadays, regardless of quality. Thank god half of Sonic Unleashed was at least average. That’s all I really expect from Sonic games nowadays…

I have replayed Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines so many times. Great game. Someone really needs to get onto making a sequel or “spiritual successor”.
Actually, more mature-themed RPGs in general, please.
