I had a Snes from My cousins that was at a house fire, it looks a lot like this, was a pain to make it work again because all the back connections were melted, we had to buy new cables and we had to jump the cables directly to the board, fortunatly the top loader buttons and controler connections were still usable, one ting is certain, it smells funny.

@dansyndrome: Sure.. just strip out the ground, make sure it's not plugged into some form of surge protection, lick your fingers and start touching random exposed metal parts inside (preferably sticking close to where the power cord plugs into the console). :)

should see my super nintendo it was dropped from 4 storie apartments onto concrete and still works i had to tape up the whole case xD so it would look nicer with masking tape.

I did a similar mod to my N64. I superglued Superman64 into the cartridge slot. It never fails to make small (and large man-) children cry.

The nightshot of the modded console looks absolutely brilliant !

It would be funny if this would be become a commercial endeavor where you send your console to be modded and in return you get something resembling 50 year old war junk. Would suck if attached to it would be a note saying "Sorry, it didn't work out, here's what's left of it, but we look forward to your continued business"
