Today’s Punishment: The Warriors, Set To ‘Beat It’
This went up early in the morning and then someone at GT promoted it to the front page. How much of this can you take? The Warriors was one of my all-time favourites on original Xbox. I hit stop at 0:38.

Good Game.
Good Song.
Terrible Post.
@Mister Jack Wants Blazblue Challengers: Yea any links?
It's just so stupid some people really are. The idiot interviewer Martin Bashir, the kids parents and of course those people who doesn't understand what Michael is doing to those children... He is helping them when their own parents can't!

@mwoody: You WIN. Good DAY sir.
@Paradox me: I was so disappointed when I got to that part and learned it was a torture machine. I was hoping for V3 cyborg upgrades.

@darkstar - new comment system sucks.: Oh no... search for moonwalk 10477.
I hope you all know The Warriors is a sweet 70s flick.
@Paradox me: That took me forever to win =/. Most un-fun part of the game right there. I managed to eventually get it without cheating.

Punishment? Beat It is one of the few MJ songs I like.
I haven't played The Warriors - is the PSP version any good? I assume it's a port of the Xbox version...

How is this punishment again? It's nowhere in the realm of amazing, but I've seen far, far worse mashups of game footage and a song. At least they used a good game and a good song.
@Paradox me: Don't even THINK about using auto-fire, or I'll know!
@ZombieFever:i played this game for a whole day straight. I just couldn't put it down and i love how it expanded on the whole world including all the back stories.
Good thing i got this movie on blu-ray cuz i gots to get me some Ajax.

@Mister Jack Wants Blazblue Challengers: I read that. It just sickens me, the greed of some people.
I also saw that the father, named Evan, as part of his demands wanted Michael to to a CD called Evanstory.

Waaahrrriiiiiiors....
Cooooome out and playeeeyay!
@Mister Jack Wants Blazblue Challengers: No I hadn't heard about this. Got a news link?
@Paradox me:I now love you.
This was such a great game. Highly under appreciated.
Wish it was BC.

Having scoured the internet for many an hours of my life I have come across much worse punishments. Many of which involve nudity of some form.
Having once been captured by the Chinese military you would find that due to the hidden and secretive nature of their torture it is often quite traditional, especially when compared to the time I was kidnapped by the Swedish government and tortured there. Having it been Sweden and the number of beautiful women, as well as the home of the Geneva convention you can imagine the need and ingenuity they require to come up with new, effective torture techniques which are in fact not covered by international human rights. This is where the internet came to be of much use to my captives. Their utilisation of shock sites depicting hideous looking people doing unspeakable things with eachother and animals sickened me to the core.
You see shock sites are in fact a creation of the Swedish government to be used as torture for its prisoners. The ones which were leaked to the general public are only the tip of the iceberg.
Upon leaving, and having developed Stockholm syndrome I had quite the revelation that Sweden's torture system was eerily like what was described by the character Dr. Benway in William S. Burroughs book, Naked Lunch.
I also found that the number of torture and kidnapping related words or diseases, such as Stockholm Syndrome was eerily worrying and I think its quite the indicator that they are in fact the ones who created torture and kidnapping, but in order to hide this fact took measures which seemed to be against such acts, while also coming up with far more secretive and destructive ways to still undertake them.
As a result I believe that Mr. Owen Good should consider outsourcing Punishments given out on Kotaku to a Swedish firm, or perhaps the government.
Have you ever had a skinhead try and sell you a "Swasticker"???
I have.
This is Epic. Fits it perfectly!
It's only tangentially related, but this is as good a place as ever to state my plea to developers: put the "2P START" option on the start screen EVEN IF THERE'S NO SECOND CONTROLLER PLUGGED IN. I played through half of the (awesome) Warriors game with my brother sitting next to me, watching. It was only when he accidentally sat on the second controller that we discovered a 2-player local mode, forcing me to start over from the beginning with us both playing.
Still, as I noted above, the game itself is fantastic. Rockstar gets a lot of buzz for their big titles (GTA, Midnight) but their little one-off stuff is almost always their best work. Bully in particular deserves much more recognition than it received, particularly with regards to the soundtrack.

Did anyone else hear the news about that kid who sued MJ for molesting him coming out and admitting that Michael was innocent? He said his parents needed money and they told him what to say.
Can't.. tap.. fast enough. Need.. turbo..
Oh.My.God.
OMG! It's Afro-Invasion!

That was really more boring than anything else. The action on screen wasn't even that well-synced with the song in any way.
I've seen much worse...got really boring though.

Good thing I love "Beat It." Watched the whole damn thing. YOUR PUNISHMENTS ARE NOTHING.
Made it all the way through 8)
This reminds me of a bunch of crappy FFXI FMV's some people I knew used to make and "show off."
These punishments just gets less ans less human...
Firelance
@mangs: yh cos you of all people would know.
I'm confused as to how this is punishment. This video exudes large quantities of awesomeness!

@Mister Jack Wants Blazblue Challengers: he's a kid toucher. let it go.
Why has there been no attempt to sync scenes from moonwalker to contemporary country ballads? There are literally tens of people who would appreciate your five minutes of hard work.
I love this song! Watched the whole thing; it was a decent fit.
RIP MJ.

Huh. I like it, actually, but I never played the game, so.
