The second Watchmen based brawler, Watchmen: The End is Nigh Part 2, is coming soon, due to be released on July 21st, July 29th, July 30th and August 26th. Everybody got that? No?
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today the release dates for the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the Watchmen beat ‘em up, which span two retail releases—Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience for the PS3 and Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 for the Xbox 360—plus three digitally distributed episodes for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The second episode will be available to you in a number of formats, included with one of the Blu-ray edition of the movie, in PlayStation 3-style packaging and on a Xbox 360-only DVD. It can also be downloaded, for everyone that enjoyed the first Watchmen: The End is Nigh so much.
Maybe this official list will clear it up.

@jeembomb:
I know right? I was sooo disappointed with the brawler we get, because there was so much potential for a really great game if they actually took the time.
Why do I have to wait an extra month to buy the second part of the game for the 360 by itself?
There releasing the two parts bundled on July 21st...and the PS3 and PC get the second part as a downloadable at the end of this month....
So why am I being punished for picking up the first part on the 360?...only to have to wait an extra month in order to download part two by itself...what the shit? Seriously?
Wait a second, that's not how you do the Heimlich maneuver!

Watchmen is watching YOU m*********. :)
@bakagaijin: The other stuff isn't a big deal, but seriously, read the comic. Borrow it from a friend or something, but read it, it's quite good.
The Watchmen: The End is Nigh The Complete Experience shall be mine.......when the price goes down. $44 from Amazon? Yeah not! I'll take the movie for now and when the games go down to $10 a pop then they might be worth it.
@Southrncomfortjm: Yeah if I was a watchmen fan I'd have no problem shelling out $50. Sounds like a great deal.
But I've never read the comics, watched the movie, or played the game, so like you said: $30 tops.
I wanted part two to focus on Doctor Manhattan and the Comedian wreaking havoc in 'Nam. I really was hoping to use the blue guy's big blue schlong to beat Cong soldiers to death...

@HooDNerD88: they should pay me!
@ashlar: Wow, so much useful information from a comment that shouldn't have been posted
@bakagaijin: No discounts on Amazon.com, its a game with a movie if you look at the box. This means only a 3 dollar discount. I know man, I was looking forward to picking up the PS3 package for 30 bucks tops.
@bakagaijin: I think it's a movie-game
A strange new hybrid chimera of a beast that features both the games and the movie...on separate discs
50 bucks for the Blu Ray combo is tempting, but even Amazon.com isn't doing their normal 40% off on new releases for it, so I guess I'll pass for now.
The game itself is pretty fun though, if the demo is any indication.
@IcerDragoon: same here... I couldn't be less interested.
Wow, so many choices for a game I won't buy.

@jeembomb: I the first game was fun, but not $20 of fun. The two games together aren't $30 of fun either. You really, really, have to love old-school brawlers to be into the game though.

This was single-handedly the worst use of MS points this year. I'm still regretting ever buying the first game. Heed my warning and stay away from these titles!
@(Zombie) Jolan: Indeed :D, the games being attached to the package should lower the price -_-...
Damn you, 360 and PS3. See what you started with your infernal, multiple skus?

So I wonder if the PS3 version is considered a game with the movie as a bonus, or the other way around.
If it's packaged as a movie with the game included, we may be able to see some good discounts on Amazon and the like.
I've never seen the movie but hear it's pretty good. I could see myself getting this for a good price. The games would just be extra.
@clammy:
The movie was good. Watchmen is simply too broad in scope to be expected to perfectly be transferred to a movie, but the movie was definitely an amazing adaption.
jeembomb
If they had released it with the Director's Cut Blu-Ray at a reasonable price I would have bought it. I'm not paying the price of a new PC game for some old-school style brawler and a movie I can get for around $20, or less.
Derangel
@clammy: No...
@jeembomb: yeah.. almost as bad as the movie was.
clammy
@(Zombie) Jolan: On Amazon, the Blu Ray version is only 21 dollars, and that's the directors cut. DVD is listed at 20.

So will the 360 Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 be 1000 gamerpoints or 400?
Ben9
Nigh... is the end.
Togala
Wow, you'd think Part 2 would have landed at $10 since those early adopters bought in at $20 and need to use up HD space to play the game. At least keep it on level with the retail packaging.
The first game was pretty lame, yes? Such a shame. Watchmen is easily my favorite piece of fiction.
jeembomb
Any price on the movie by itself?
The End is Nigh'er?
