What Exactly Ghost In The Shell Director Is Doing

Originally when Halo Legends, the series of anime shorts, was announced, the role of Ghost In The Shell director Mamoru Oshii would be involved with the project.

To clarify, Oshii will be the creative director for Halo Legends. He will not be directing either of the two Projection I.G. episodes, but Appleseed director Shinji Aramaki will be.

Oshii is a Creative Director of Halo Legends, Not Episode Director [ANN]

    Also, he did the original movie, not Stand Alone Complex (which your picture is from).
