Why? According to an Activision spokesperson, the delay was made “in order to facilitate a simultaneous global release window for id Software’s Wolfenstein.”
Activision has “realigned the game’s release date for the week beginning August 17th.”
That two week delay for Wolfenstein is the second bit of bad news from Raven and Activision. The developer’s original shooter Singularity was recently pushed into 2010.

Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 9:01 AMBeen hanging out for this game mainly for the multiplayer. Hopefully it gets a good community going like the good old days of Enemy Territory. Hasn’t been too much hype so far though… :(
