A Link For All Seasons

The Design Inspiration has a collection of Legend of Zelda artwork up in the style of their amazing Super Mario Bros. artwork we some some time ago.

Sadly, I don’t see any Links that could pass for Daniel Day-Lewis — but there’s one that kind of looks like Jeff Bridges before he went to seed. And there are more than a few portraits that bring new meaning to the term “androgynous.”

But the one that takes the cake, for me anyway, is this one:

    Wynahiro’s one, JRamy Badie’s one and the “The Hyrule fantasy” wee the best. But why do none of them have brown hair? They never retconed the original link have brown hair.

    I love the Zelda series, but you can’t make a boy in a green elf costume look tough. It’s just not possible.
