The #1 game in the UK last week was a Nintendo title. No surprises there. But numbers two through four were not. Nor were they EA games, or even Activision titles. They were Codemasters games. Codemasters!

With England in the grip of Ashes fever, Codies’ Ashes 2009 has sold like British hotcakes (hot scones?!), with the PS3 version at #2, 360 version at #3 and Wii version at #4.

I’ve got a copy of the game in my hands right now, actually… expect a review soonish!
