Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?
I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.
This is definitely Hacker for the C64. Great game that I wasted many hours on – can’t remember finishing it though. There was lots of world traversing with the robot to trade bits and bobs.
Looking at that reminds me of the cyberpunk-adventure Neuromancer (might still be able to pick it up over at http://www.hotud.org – home of the underdogs, or one of its deriviants you can find on the wikipedia entry).
I agree completely about Neuromancer being an excellent game, but.. how exactly does that screenshot remind you of it?!? Unless it’s the somewhat blocky but widely used text in the menu?
PS “A bizarre quirk of my mind” is an acceptable answer. I get those all the time ;)

The above is a C64 game, that much I can figure out but have nfi what.
